AUS 32 is covered by India's Diesel Engines - NOx Reduction Agent AUS 32 (Quality Control) Order, 2024 and the related Indian Standard IS 17042 (Part 1). We update site-specific certification details as operational milestones are completed.
Partners receive bulk AUS 32 from EcoSmart +Blue and sell to fleets and retail customers under the EcoSmart +Blue brand. Discussion-led onboarding, formal agreement on stamp paper.
DEF quality is uneven in the market. Three things drift more than anything else, and each of them costs the engine. We hold all three on every batch that leaves the plant.

DEF in the market sometimes reads below 31.5% or above 33.5%. Either way, the SCR system can't convert NOx properly and may throw fault codes.

Urea grade
What drifts in the market
Cheaper agriculture-grade urea sometimes gets blended in. It carries impurities that crystallise inside the SCR catalyst and shorten its life.
What we do
Government-approved technical-grade urea only. Same supplier, same grade, on every batch - no blending with cheaper substitutes.
Water content
What drifts in the market
Adding water to stretch volume produces fluid that looks the part but starves the SCR system of urea - so the engine pays the cost on efficiency and emissions.
What we do
32.5% urea, 67.5% deionised water - every batch, no exceptions. The recipe doesn't move to chase margins.
Every EcoSmart +Blue franchise receives the identical fluid from the same Chikballapur line. No territory-specific blends, no different quality tiers.
Built to ISO 22241-1 - the same specification used by OEM-supplied DEF brands across India. The fluid that goes into a Tata, BharatBenz, or Gulf-fuelled vehicle is built to the same standard as ours.
DEF that meets spec keeps the SCR catalyst clean and lets the engine run at the efficiency it was designed for. Off-spec fluid quietly compromises both.

EcoSmart +Blue is the AUS 32 manufacturing operation of Aum SLN Enterprises. The plant is commissioned and producing Diesel Exhaust Fluid using government-approved technical-grade urea (GNFC) and deionised water, blended to the 31.5%–33.5% concentration specified by ISO 22241-1 and IS 17042 (Part 1).
Bulk ships direct from the plant — 200 L barrels, 1000 L IBCs, and tankers. Smaller volumes reach customers through our franchise partners, who sell under the EcoSmart +Blue brand.
